Amy Keesee

Keesee_photoDr. Amy Keesee is a Research Assistant Professor at West Virginia University. She is a plasma physicist, studying the Earth’s magnetosphere. She wrote an article on fusion energy that appears in the current issue of AWIS Magazine. If you are not a member of the Association for Women in Science you can download the article here.

Dr. Keesee was selected by the WVU Council for Women’s Concerns to receive the 2012 Mary Catherine Buswell Award for her service to women at WVU. In particular, her work as President of the West Virginia Chapter of the Association for Women in Science was recognized.
