ESWN Volunteer Recruitment 2025
The Earth Science Women’s Network is recruiting volunteers to serve on all our committees! If interested, please fill out the below survey by 30 June 2025.
ESWN’s mission is to support the scientists of today and welcome the scientists of tomorrow. ESWN aspires to transform scientific culture and institutions to advance justice, equity, inclusivity, respect, and community.
We are looking for volunteers to serve on committees for
- Communications
- Professional Development & Networking
- Member Engagement
- Development & Stewardship

Volunteers can expect to participate in a monthly committee meeting, and about one hour a week of time spent on projects, on average. This may fluctuate based on our activities and your schedule. There are also opportunities to move into ESWN Leadership roles.
We strive to empower everyone on the team, and there will be opportunities to develop new events or activities and provide input to ESWN as a whole. Our goal is to create a collaborative environment for us all to work towards our common goals.
We will get back to volunteers by the end of July with committee invitations.
